First look at the ‘star factory’ at the center of the Milky Way

For the first time, astronomers have reconstructed the history of star formation at the center of the Milky Way, finding that star birth radiates outward from the center of the Milky Way.

The results also showed that most young Star Loose associations formed at the densely packed galactic center and further separated over the course of millions of years.
