If you want to buy a great 4K TV – whether to play games or enjoy epic fantasy like HBO Dragon House and the upcoming Lord of the Rings TV Shows — Best Buy is currently selling Hisense’s new U8H Series TVs in 55-inch configurations for $699.99 ($450 off). That’s the best price we’ve seen on one of the higher-quality offerings in Hisense’s 2022 “ULED” TV lineup, which sits below the brighter U9H lineup.
In terms of features, the Mini LED TV has a fast 120Hz refresh rate and has built-in support for Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can issue voice commands whether you’re embedded in Amazon’s or Google’s ecosystem. It also includes support for Dolby Vision and HDR10 Plus, as well as gamer-friendly features like Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) support and AMD FreeSync Premium. It even leverages the Google TV platform, which aggregates content recommendations from all of your favorite streaming services.
Fitness enthusiasts looking for a pair of earbuds that can stand up to a sweaty workout and stay away from noisy gym-goers: You can currently get Jabra’s new Elite 4 Active for $89.99 at Amazon, Best Buy, and Jabra — a $30 discount and a new record low shades of blue.
Compared to Jabra’s older Elite 3 (still our favorite earbuds you can buy for under $100), the 4 Active offers better IP57 water resistance, active noise cancellation, and even supports multi-point pairing. We haven’t tested them yet, but given Jabra’s penchant for making true wireless earbuds, they might work just as well.
Whether you’re heading back to college or high school, an instant camera is a fun gadget to take with you to social events. Kodak’s Mini 3 Retro is especially enjoyable because the instant camera is paired with a companion app, which you can use to hide imperfections and add frames, stickers, filters, and more. Plus, it’s a hybrid camera, which means you can also use it to instantly print photos taken with your smartphone.
While it’s our favorite instant camera for parties, it’s not our first choice, mainly because its photo quality isn’t as good as Fujifilm’s Mini 11. Photo quality is still acceptable, though, especially when you’re using the camera as a printer for smartphone shots—a feature the Fuji Mini 11 lacks. If all this sounds good to you, you can get the Kodak Mini 3 Retro right now on Amazon for $89.99 ($70 off) using an on-page coupon, one of the best prices on Retro to date.
Here’s your first chance to save on Anker’s relatively new PowerCore 24K GaN charger (model name 737). It normally costs $149.99, but Anker has a 20% coupon you can use on Amazon’s product page to bring the price down to around $119.99 before tax. Considering this portable power brick has a capacity of 24,000mAh and can charge (and recharge) at up to 140W via its PD 3.1 spec, that really sets it apart from the competition.
While we haven’t reviewed this model yet, my colleague Umar Shakir shares more specs and what makes it interesting in his article.
And some good deals…
- Apple’s newest Magic Trackpack with Force Touch normally costs $129, but you can now get it from Woot with a silver 90-day warranty for $84.99, which matches the trackpad’s lowest price yet.
- One of our picks for the best gifts under $25, the Besign LS10 Laptop Stand is $21.31 on Amazon instead of $27.99. While not an uncommon deal, it’s the lowest price we’ve seen and a good investment if you’re going back to college. With a laptop stand, you’re less likely to hurt your neck or disrupt your posture because you can easily adjust it to your height.
- Right now, you can get a discounted Xbox Wireless Controller when you buy the Xbox Series X from Antonline (via eBay) for $539.99. While Microsoft’s next-gen consoles normally retail for $499.99, the official Xbox Wireless Controller can be had for as little as $49.99, which means that the current price represents a discount of around $10.
